Event narrative

There was a tree blocking the road near Old Pollys Shoe Store. There were also trees down on Upper Brush Creek Road and at the intersection of Angel Ridge and KY 501.

Wider weather episode

As an upper trough approached the Lower Ohio Valley, widespread convection moved east into Kentucky. As the system moved through central Kentucky, a north to south oriented line of convection developed, resulting in scattered downed trees in four counties.
