ASOS station KTVL South Lake Tahoe Airport recorded a gust of 58 mph. Mesonet station at Homewood Ski Resort recorded a wind gust of 59 mph. LIB25 Muller1296 - Emigrant Trail recorded a wind gust of 59 mph.
The wider storm
During the weekend of the 25th-26th, a strong Pacific storm system brought periods of rain and strong winds across the region. Most of the rain fell over northeast CA and the Tahoe basin. The 26th was day two in this multi-day event.
