Event narrative

Temple Bar Road was flooded, and there was major flooding in and south of Meadview. Numerous roads were damaged by water, boulders, and debris. Multiple underground water pipes serving Meadview were broken. One rain gauge recorded 4.13 inches, including 3.15 inches in one hour.

Wider weather episode

A push of monsoon moisture fueled scattered thunderstorms, with the greatest activity on the 5th and 6th. Many storms produced severe weather and flash flooding.
