There were two feet of standing water at the intersection of Highways 190 and 127, water and debris over Highway 190 at Furnace Creek, and the following roads were closed: Badwater Road from Jubilee Road to Highway 190, all of West Side Road, and all of Twenty Mule Team Road.

Moisture from the remnants of Pacific Tropical Storm Mario fueled scattered thunderstorms, many of which produced flash flooding.
