Snowfall totals ranged from 5 to 9 inches across the area, including 9 inches in Edwards with 6 inches in Star Lake and Cranberry Lake.

A cold front moved across northern NY during the evening hours of November 26th, setting up a uniformed, cold fetch of west-southwest winds across Lake Ontario. A lake effect snow band developed off of Lake Ontario during the night of 11/26 and moved into the Adirondacks of SE St. Lawrence and southern Franklin counties shortly after midnight on the 27th.
The lake effect snow band primarily remained across the are through the 27th (Thanksgiving) before shifting south of the region late in the evening. Snowfall totals ranged from 3 to 7 inches across southern Franklin county with 5 to 9 inches across SE St. Lawrence county.
