Snow, and north winds gusting up to 40 mph in wake of a strong cold front led to icy roads across the county. Snow amounts were generally light with COCORAHS amounts showing around 0.5 inches with the snow ending across Norton county around 6am CT. A single vehicle crash occurred on K-383, about 2.7 miles north of US 36. The vehicle with 5 occupants hit a patch of ice, which lost control and flipped into a a north ditch. An 11 year old occupant sustained minor injuries.

A strong cold front moving through the area during the late evening hours of the 28th led to light snow and icy roads as temperatures steadily dropped. A single vehicle accident occurred in northern Norton county due to the icy roads.
