Marengo County remained in at least Severe (D2) drought through the month of November, with most of the county classified as Extreme (D3).

Wider weather episode

Drought conditions continued through November, especially across the southern half of Central Alabama, where several counties remained all or in part in D2 to D3 drought. Modest rainfall during the month held drought conditions steady, with little improvement or deterioration in conditions through the entire month.
