Drought — Northwest Webster, West Virginia
2025-11-01 to 2025-11-30 · Northwest Webster, West Virginia
Wider weather episode
November started out with an area of moderate (D1) to severe (D2) drought persisting within counties along and east of I-79 and along and north of I-64. However, precipitation deposited by a procession of systems resulted in a slow, but steady improvement in drought conditions as the month progressed.
In addition to multiple rounds of beneficial rain, several inches of snow fell across the area the evening of November 10th into the morning of the 11th. Another snow event then occurred in the northeast mountains the evening of the 27th into the 28th. By the end of the month, only a sliver of D1 remained in eastern Randolph and eastern Pocahontas Counties.
