Breezy westerly to west-northwesterly winds blew across the northern half of the Quad State during the early morning hours of the 26th following a strong overnight cold frontal passage. Wind gusts of 28+mph were commonplace in the Evansville Tri-State area, with Evansville Regional Airport reporting the lone 40mph gust.
