A freeze impacted Washington County, with multiple mesonets, including CWOP and Davis weather stations reporting temperatures between 28-31 degrees during the early morning hours of October 24, 2025.

High pressure centered over the Ohio Valley led to light winds and excellent radiational cooling conditions early on the morning of October 24, 2025. Temperatures dropped to at or below the freezing mark in all of NWS Louisville's counties in southern Indiana. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s were common, and this was the first freeze of the season in many communities.
