KIMS AWOS dropped to 32 degrees during the early morning hours. Other local mesonets and personal weather stations dropped into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

High pressure centered over the Ohio Valley led to light winds and excellent radiational cooling conditions early on the morning of October 24, 2025. Temperatures dropped to at or below the freezing mark in all of NWS Louisville's counties in southern Indiana. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s were common, and this was the first freeze of the season in many communities.
