Personal home weather stations in Anderson County reported temperatures between 29-33 degrees. Roughly one mile from the Anderson County line, the Franklin County Kentucky Mesonet station dropped to 30 degrees during the early morning hours.

High pressure centered over the Ohio Valley led to light winds and excellent radiational cooling conditions early on the morning of October 24, 2025. Temperatures dropped to at or below the freezing mark across much of central Kentucky. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s were common, and this was the first freeze of the season in many communities.
