The first winter weather event for the season took place across portions of southeast Ohio beginning on November 10th in the wake of a cold front. Rain fell ahead of the frontal passage the evening prior, but transitioned over to snow and colder temperatures were ushered into the area. On and off snow showers then prevailed throughout the day and came to an end on the morning of November 11th as high pressure built into the Ohio Valley.

Local cooperative observers and CoCoRaHS volunteers in southeast Ohio measured snowfall totals ranging from 1 to 2 inches with this event.
