October 2025 saw marked improvement in drought conditions across northeast Arkansas, driven mainly by above-average rainfall, especially during the final week of October. While severe drought (D2) and moderate drought (D1) continued in parts of the region at times during the month, the overall trend was toward diminished drought intensity and location by late October.
