Report occurred as thunderstorms were moving through the area. Report came in from a personal weather station via WeatherFlow.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front quickly tracked east across Central and Eastern North Carolina during the evening of November nineth and eventually pushed offshore during the early morning hours of November tenth. As this occurred, scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms developed along and just out ahead of this front with a few of these storms becoming strong in nature bringing damaging wind gusts to the coastal waters near the Crystal Coast.
