What the National Weather Service wrote

Emergency management officials reported flooding in the Mara Antonia area of Gunica. Heavy rainfall caused floodwaters to cover multiple roadways, including Calle Jos Nasario and Simn Mejas, rendering them impassable. No injuries or structural damage were reported.

The wider storm

A moist and unstable weather pattern, caused by the passage of Tropical Cyclone Melissa off to the south across the Caribbean Sea, affected the islands and led to periods of intense thunderstorms. These thunderstorms resulted in localized impacts, including wind damage and flooding in several areas.
