A large tree limb, approximately 6 to 8 inches in diameter, was blown onto the roof of a house. The report was relayed through Spotter Network. The event time is estimated from radar observations.
Wider weather episode
A weak upper storm system helped trigger widely scattered thunderstorm activity across Oklahoma and western-north on the evening of the 23rd. Sufficient wind shear and instability promoted organized thunderstorm modes, including a few supercell thunderstorms, during this episode. A hail and wind-producing supercell thunderstorm moved along the Red River vicinity in the mid-evening.
