Event narrative

A utility pole fell onto the roadway along Carr. 311 in the Bo. Plan Bonito sector near the area after the basketball court. Power lines were reported hanging over the pavement.

Wider weather episode

An upper-level low and abundant tropical moisture over the area triggered strong thunderstorm development over portions of Puerto Rico on October 31st. These storms caused strong gusty winds and urban flooding in areas of western PR from around noon through the mid-afternoon hours.
