Snowfall ranged from 4.2 to 5.5 inches.

A mid to upper level trough moved through central Indiana late on December 1st into early December 2nd producing widespread snow across central Indiana. Multiple rounds of snow occurred from the late afternoon hours on the 1st to the early morning hours on the 2nd. Moderate snowfall amounts of 2.0 to 4.0 inches were common, but mesoscale snow bands aided by frontogenesis produced local amounts as high as 5.0 to 6.8 inches.

Over 150 crashes were reported to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department in less than 24 hours due to the winter weather. Need to see if any impacts/accidents in any other counties.
