Northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to around 60 mph were common across eastern Cherry County during the morning hours into the mid afternoon hours. A Cooperative Observer near Valentine reported the highest peak wind gust of 72 mph at 1006 am CST.

Strong northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with a gusts to around 60 mph occurred across north central Nebraska into portions of southwest Nebraska during the morning hours until the mid afternoon hours on November 25th. Peak wind gusts reached 61 mph or higher at the Imperial, Broken Bow and Valentine ASOS stations.
