Here are some of the stronger wind reports received; 82 mph at Virginia Dale, 80 mph three miles east of Pinewood Springs, and 72 mph two miles south-southwest Laporte.
The wider storm
High winds developed during the early morning hours of the 11th and continued into the early morning hours. There were several reports of 70 to 85 mph winds in the Front Range Mountains and northern foothills.
