An MCS lifted out of Nebraska and into Iowa early on the morning of August 10th. The 850 mb low level jet was oriented from southwest to northeast and helped to maintain storms through the early morning hours, along with MLCAPE of over 3000 J/kg. Winds were the primary threat along the leading edge of storms with tree damage and a measured gust over 60 mph.
