Winds generally gusted 40-50 mph but some gusts were higher including a 60 mph gust in Berlin at 12:46 PM EST. In South Windsor a tree came down on wires near the Manchester line. In East Windsor a tree was blocking the north bound lane of Barber Hill Rd. In Manchester power lines were down on Spruce St and West Meadow Turnpike.

A strong storm system and cold front moved through southern New England on Friday bringing a 4-8 hour period of strong winds which caused sporadic damage in CT. Winds generally gusted 50-60 mph.
