A tree fell onto a car along Rallen Drive near The Plains. There were no occupants in the car at the time of the downed tree.

Wider weather episode

Surface winds increased in intensity on November 16th across southeast Ohio after the passage of a cold front earlier that morning. In the midst of the stronger winds, there was one instance of a downed tree in Athens County that fell onto an unoccupied vehicle. Winds quickly diminished later that evening as the cold front progressed further off the eastern seaboard.
