A KDOT weather site named K5OK7 along I-70 3 ESE Oakley reported a 61 mph wind gust.

The wider storm

A strong cold front brought high wind gusts up to 85 mph across northwest Kansas during the evening of the 17th into the early morning of the 18th. Numerous wind gusts of 58-80+ mph were observed, with the strongest being just west of Goodland topping out at 85 mph.
