Patchy fog developed over the Yampa River Basin during the morning of October 6. The KCAG ASOS at the Craig-Moffat County Airport reported decreasing visibility for about 30 minutes shortly before sunrise, including a brief period of 1/4 mile visibility. No reports of injuries, damages, or fatalities were received.

Wider weather episode

Brief periods of increased moisture moved through northwestern Colorado during portions of the first week of October. Skies began to clear on the 6th though. With temperatures dropping as a result, dense fog became favorable across northern Colorado valleys.
