The wider storm

A long duration late fall snowstorm spread northeast into Wisconsin early Saturday morning. The snow fell for around 24 to 30 hours, staying mostly light to moderate rates. The greatest snowfall amounts were reported across extreme western Wisconsin down into southwest Wisconsin, topping out around 4 to 6 inches.

Breezy winds at the end of the event meant blowing and drifting snow made it hard to get accurate measurements. The main impact from this storm was difficult travel for the weekend following Thanksgiving.
