Very Strong winds reported most of the night and during the morning hours at Bordeaux. Peak gust was 84 MPH at two different times. Webcams at Bordeaux showed a 16 wheel truck blown over, which likely happened during consistent wind gusts of 76 MPH that morning.

Wider weather episode

A strong jet stream aloft parked itself over southern Wyoming for a prolonged high wind event that lingered into the early morning hours of the 10th of December. Multiple wind gusts over hurricane force were reported with several 16 wheelers blown over across Interstate 80 and Interstate 25.
