Occasional wind gusts between 70 to 78 MPH observed at Skyline, south of Saratoga, and near the Colorado border.
Wider weather episode
A strong jet stream aloft parked itself over southern Wyoming for a prolonged high wind event that lingered into the early morning hours of the 10th of December. Multiple wind gusts over hurricane force were reported with several 16 wheelers blown over across Interstate 80 and Interstate 25.
