The Bartley RAWS measured a brief high wind gust of 58 mph.

A shortwave trough moved east across the northern Rockies during the day. Strong mid and upper level winds over eastern New Mexico at the base of this trough along with deep daytime mixing resulted in brief high wind gusts at Bartley, Clines Corners, and the Tucumcari Airport. Winds tapered off during the mid evening hours as the disturbance exited east into the central United States.
