This set forth a period of snow showers into the late morning hours before quickly dashing to the east by midday. Precipitation fell as predominantly snow in Kentucky where sub-freezing temperatures prevailed, resulting in snow amounts between 1 to 2 inches, measured by local cooperative observers and CoCoRaHS volunteers.
