Wider weather episode
The next round of snow for southeast Ohio took shape during the predawn hours of December 8th as a passing disturbance swept across the Central Appalachians. Due to the southern track of this storm, most counties in Ohio obtained little to no snow, but Lawrence and Gallia Counties were located within the northern fringes of this passing wave and picked up 2 to 4 inches before precipitation diminished over the area that evening.
