Broadcast media reported 3.0 inches at 3 N Putnam Valley. Cocorahs reported 3.5 inches in Cold Spring and 3.2 inches at 0.3 S Nelsonville. A Coop observer reported 3.1 inches in Carmel.

Advisory and some Warning level snowfall occurred across SE New York. An quasi arctic / polar boundary moved across the region as elongated weak low pressure formed along the boundary and moved along the boundary to the east northeast. The region was on the cold side of the boundary which resulted in accumulating snowfall region wide.
