Cocorahs reported 8.3 inches at Center Moriches and the public reported 8.2 inches at 1 NNE Center Moriches. The public reported 8.0 inches at 1 NNW Remsenburg-Speonk, 5.8 inches at 3 ENE Sag Harbor. An NWS Employee reported 5.1 inches at 1 SE East Quogue.

Advisory and some Warning level snowfall occurred across SE New York. An quasi arctic / polar boundary moved across the region as elongated weak low pressure formed along the boundary and moved along the boundary to the east northeast. The region was on the cold side of the boundary which resulted in accumulating snowfall region wide.
