Event narrative

A female driver passed away from a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer which was traveling northbound on Route 12B and lost control during a snow squall. The truck crossed into the southbound lane colliding with the other vehicle.

Wider weather episode

A two vehicle crash occurred during the early afternoon on the 4th. Snow was occurring during the time of the crash with embedded heavier bands nearby at the reported time of the incident, 1:43pm. The incident occurred on Route 12B in the town of Sherburne where a woman's vehicle and a tractor-trailer hit head-on. Law enforcement investigation revealed the tractor-trailer was driving north on 12B when a white-out snow squall passed through. The truck driver lost control and crossed into the southbound lane, colliding with the car unfortunately resulting in the death of the other driver.
