The public reported 4.0 inches at Glen Ridge, 5.3 inches at 1 NW Newark, and cocorahs reported 5.2 inches at Montclair.

Advisory and some Warning level snowfall occurred across NE New Jersey. An quasi arctic / polar boundary moved across the region as elongated weak low pressure formed along the boundary and moved along the boundary to the east northeast. The region was on the cold side of the boundary which resulted in accumulating snowfall region wide.
