Strong gusty winds were reported at several WYDOT sensors in the southern Laramie Range along Interstate 80. Gusts were the most persistent at Remount Road and Wildcat Trail, which reported a peak gust of 69 MPH.

Wider weather episode

Potent upper level jet stream drifted back over the region for December 11th after a brief lull in the winds. Strong wind gusts between 60 to 75 MPH were common, especially in the wind prone areas.
