What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

An EF-0 tornado touched down along Eagle Bend Road south of Yazoo City where the top of a Pecan tree was downed onto a home. Fortunately, the home sustained limited if any damage. The tornado continued to move northeast, parallel to Eagle Bend Road while staying slightly north of the roadway. Intermittent vegetative damage was noted with a isolated tree fall as well. It dissipated near Old Highway 3 where minor roofing tin peeling was noted. The tornado's maximum winds were estimated at 85 mph.
