A Cocorahs observer reported 4.5 inches at 2.9 NNE Old Saybrook. Amateur radio reported 4.0 inches at 1 NNE Killingworth. Broadcast media reported 3.6 inches in Clinton. A trained spotter reported 3.2 inches at 1 SW Westbrook.

Advisory level snowfall occurred across Southern Connecticut. An quasi arctic / polar boundary moved across the region as elongated weak low pressure formed along the boundary and moved along the boundary to the east northeast. The region was on the cold side of the boundary which resulted in accumulating snowfall region wide.
