Cocorahs observers reported 4.0 inches at 1.7 NNE Old Lyme, 3.5 inches at Old Lyme, 3.1 inches at New London, 2.9 inches in Mystic, 2.7 inches at 0.5 NE Ledyard, and 2.7 inches in Pawcatuck and Waterford.

Advisory level snowfall occurred across Southern Connecticut. An quasi arctic / polar boundary moved across the region as elongated weak low pressure formed along the boundary and moved along the boundary to the east northeast. The region was on the cold side of the boundary which resulted in accumulating snowfall region wide.
