Light snow fell across the county during the afternoon and evening hours. One inch of snowfall was measured in 1 mile SE of Elysian.

A clipper type system moved across southern Minnesota over the first weekend of December. Periods of light to moderate snow fell mainly south and west of the MN River Valley. Between 1 to 3 inches of snowfall fell across this region with the highest snowfall observations in Martin and Faribault counties.

The top snowfall reports were:

3.1 inches in Fairmont, MN (Martin).

3.0 inches in Blue Earth, MN (Faribault).

2.0 inches in Winnebago, MN (Faribault).

2.0 inches 3 miles SE of Wells, MN (Faribault).
