Numerous incidents of downed power lines occurred from non thunderstorm winds near Branson. A non thunderstorm wind gust of 61 mph was measured near Branson.

Wider weather episode

A strong storm system moved through the area during the afternoon of December 18th. Frequent wind gusts of 30-45mph occurred with a few gusts around 60mph. These non thunderstorm winds did down some tree limbs and powerlines.
