Highest snowfall totals in Huron County were 7.5 inches in Ubly to 5.0 inches in Bad Axe.

Low pressure brought 1 to 2 inches of snow across most of Southeast Michigan on the 9th. Cold air behind the system, paired with northeast winds, led to heavy lake-effect snow showers heading into the 10th. These showers produced localized accumulations of 3'7 inches across the Eastern Thumb region, particularly in Huron County, where the highest amounts occurred. Winds also gusted between 25 and 40 mph within the snow bands, leading to significant blowing and drifting. The highest totals recorded in Huron County included 7.5 inches in Ubly and 5.0 inches in Bad Axe.
