The Ambient Weather site named Hock located 8 NNE Culbertson recorded a max wind gust of 83 mph. The site also recorded additional wind gusts ranging from 66-81 mph. Another Ambient Weather site named Culbertson Shuttle which is located 1 WNW Culbertson also recorded wind gusts of 60 and 63 mph.

Another day of high winds occurred on the 18th. A peak wind gust of 83 mph was recorded in Hitchcock county located 8 NNE Culbertson. McCook also saw a 71 mph wind gust. Dundy county was still windy but not quite as strong as recorded wind gusts maxed out around 55 mph.
