Drought in Lafayette, Mississippi
Drought November 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025 · Lafayette, Mississippi
What the National Weather Service wrote
Severe (D2) Drought conditions persisted in western Lafayette county through November.
The wider storm
November precipitation was below average with rainfall being sparse in the first three weeks of the month, with most falling later on. The limited November rain slowed or partially offset improvements achieved by rainfall in October, allowing Severe Drought (D2) conditions to gradually shrink in size, but continue to persist into December.
