Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down a couple of trees and branches in the Canaan Township to Lake Township area south of Waymart.

A strong cold front crossed the area during the morning hours of the 19th with a convective line of gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms. Strong winds aloft mixed down to the surface and knocked over a couple of trees and large branches in Wayne County as the line moved through.
