Quarter-sized hail fell on Henry Midway Road.

A mid-level shortwave moved across the middle Mississippi Valley and into the lower Ohio Valley during the afternoon and evening of November 18, 2025. Meanwhile, a surface low tracked from northern Missouri into western Kentucky. The associated cold front pushed into northwest Tennessee during the evening hours. A few thunderstorms developed and became severe as the front intersected an instability axis over northwest Tennessee. These severe storms produced large hail over northwest Tennessee.
