Mill Canyon RAWS recorded a wind gust of 78 mph. Also, Lee Vining mesonet station recorded a wind gust of 71 mph.

After a quiet first half of the month, storms returned to bring strong wind gusts of 45-60 mph in lower elevations, isolated gusts up to 80 mph in wind prone locations, and around 100 mph for Sierra ridges. Rainfall was mainly limited to the Tahoe Basin northward across NE California, with amounts from 0.25-0.75. Locally up to 1 of rain fell near the Oregon border and near the Sierra crest west of Lake Tahoe. Snow levels were quite high, above 9000 feet for this event.
