RAWS LVYN2 Little Valley recorded a gust of 67 mph. Also, the mesonet station SLIDE 0.9 E Mount Rose Summit recorded a gust of 101 mph.
Wider weather episode
Strong wind gusts of 50-60 mph across lower elevations of far western NV, isolated gusts 65-80 mph in wind prone areas and around 100 mph for Sierra ridges. 1-5 of snow was reported above 7000 feet for he northern portion of the Tahoe Basin. Rainfall was rather shadowed out for much of W NV with spotty amounts of 0.10 or less in far W NV, and dry conditions for west central NV.
