The month started with the entire zone in Extreme(D3) drought but improved to Severe(D2) drought by the end of the month. The Cooperative Observer in Antelope Wells reported 1 inch of precipitation which was 0.19 inches above normal.

Wider weather episode

Slightly above normal precipitation in November for most of southern New Mexico helped improve drought conditions a little bit over western zones.
